We share personal information only with the third-party service providers we use to operate our website, email list, and payments. Each provider only receives the information it needs to perform its function, under a contract that requires it to protect your data. These currently include:

  • Squarespace — hosts our website and, where used, powers our checkout.
  • Our email platform Squarespace Email Campaigns — stores our email list and sends our newsletters and updates.
  • Our payment processor (for example, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay or Squarespace Payments) — securely processes payments when you buy the film or a screening. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Google Analytics — helps us understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK (for example, in the United States). Where your information is transferred internationally, we rely on the providers' own safeguards designed to protect personal information in line with UK and EU data protection law.

We may also need to share your personal information in the following situation:

  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

In Short: If you are a US resident, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.

As a small UK-based business, we collect only your name and email address, and we do not sell your personal information. We have not sold or shared personal information for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not intend to do so in the future.
